In South Africa it self it is tons of Townships. It is so sad to see how many poor people it is there, the government is so corrupt and I feel like no matter how hard the new presidents etc try, they are all used to living the way they are living now by killing people to just get the smallest things, to live without anything, to do crime to survive! They have done it for decades, and I feel like the only way things would really change was if South Africa wore to get some real American military in there/ Law Enforcement and finally then things would change! I mean I am sure things could still change, but it takes a lot of work to get it done.
I took an uber and I put in the wrong address, and I ended up in a Township in Cape Town close to a place called “Hout Bay.” You can see Hout Bay above in the photo I posted, it is a 5 min drive from the townships. I got so many looks on me while I was sitting in the car, and I just told my driver to get out of there ASAP. But just seeing it broke my heart, I had no idea it was that bad. Even though kids wore running around being all happy, and playing ball, just seeing how broken the football was hurt my heart. I truly wish it was safe enough for me to go outside there. I would do everything I could to help every single person. They had a common area where they got BBQ´s etc, and I would’ve bought some new equipment for them. It is just so sad to see how us people who has a roof over our head just don’t realize how lucky we are. Some people are a lot happier than us without even having a dime$ to their name.
